Leaving Aussie!

Well the time has come, and for me it is a time with mixed feelings. My year in Aussie has been a blast from the start to the end. This is mainly because of all the great people i got to know during this month down under.
First of all, I must start with my “family” in the room 637 at Kelvin Grove village. Consisting of Monique, Carley, Kenneth and Bjørn Endre. I must say I feel really lucky with my roomies. Even the Canadian chick was cool, who would have guessed that? And she even stayed for our hole stay, when the aussiechick had enough halfway trough. But looking back, it was a perfect combination of people. And all those laughs. Gonna miss that.
The other group that needs attention is Story Bridge Devils, Queenslands only floorball team, and the team with the best spirit. Coming from Norway, playing floorball just for fun, down to aussie, with pro swedes, that was really enjoyable. And I´m sure my skills have improved some. The tournament in Melbourne was so much fun, not just the play, but just everyone hanging out.
Next to all the great people, the trips, and adventures is what I´m gonna remember the most. The roadtrip to Sydney, visits places like Big bana, golden guitar (a detour equals Tr.heim - Oslo) Port Harbour, Cuffs Harbour, Newcastle, Tamworth and more.
The diving experience in Cairns with Dangerous Dave, turtles and sharks. Was incredible, something I will remember for life. The feeling underneath sea level is beyond words to describe.
A weekend with tanning, good people and sea, beach at Straddie was also great.
And I can not forget the visit of my brother and his friend, going to Fraser Island, and the driving up there. It was really fun.
So, sitting here at the airport and looking back, 2008 have been awesome. Thanks y´all!

Yeah, thanks for a great year. 637 ruled, and especially 637.4!
It has been nice to share the Aussie experience with you and the rest of the guys. Even though you look kind of like a tall Hobbit, just a little bit different the other ones, but still the hairy smelly feet.
